Photo Award Ceremony of the ' press moments' 2025: Honoring outstanding authors, accompanying the country and accompanying the people

The "Journey moment" Photo Award organized by Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper under the direction of the Vietnam Journalists Association is a prestigious professional playground for photojournalists who are directly working in the vibrant flow of life.

The presence of representatives of departments, branches, businesses and the public who love the art of photography has created a vibrant atmosphere, affirming the strong influence of the 7th season in the life of journalism and media nationwide.

Speaking at the Award Ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh emphasized the significance of the "press moments" photo award. According to him, the Photo Award is not only an opportunity to honor outstanding works, but also an opportunity to look back on the responsible, passionate and professional journey of journalists.

In the warm, solemn and emotional atmosphere of todays Awards Ceremony, we can look back at the moments of life that have been documented by photojournalists with responsibility, passion and deep love for journalism, Mr. Le Quoc Minh shared.

According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the "Journeyze moment" Photo Award organized by the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper has entered its 7th season - a journey "not too long but enough to affirm the prestige, identity and professional value" of the award.

Through many seasons of organization, the award not only honors skills and professional acumen, but also affirms the special role of press photography as a vivid historical witness, truly reflecting social reality and spreading sustainable human values.

The 2025 season has the theme "Vietnamese bravery" - deeply depicting the silent but steadfast journey of journalists, those who have chosen to stand at the forefront to fulfill the information mission.

This year's tournament attracted nearly 400 entries, selected and honored 50 outstanding entries, opening to the public a lively space about the life, history and people of Vietnam through realistic and emotional slices.

Appreciating the efforts of Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper in persistently organizing the award over the years, the Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that the "Journey moment" Photo Award not only creates a healthy professional playground for photojournalists, but also contributes to honoring the core values of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism: honesty, humanity and community.

Looking at the works participating in this years awards, we can clearly see the image of journalists who always quietly accompany the country, accompanying the people in every breath of life, he shared.

Amidst the constant changes of the times, photo reporters not only record reality, but also preserve moments that touch the heart, so that society can see each other more clearly, understand each other more deeply and believe in sustainable human values.

Evaluating the quality of this year's season, Mr. Viet Van, a member of the Jury, emphasized: "In both quantity and quality, I see that "Moments of Press 2025" continues to maintain its reputation and raise standards compared to previous seasons".

He said that every year there are advances, with many excellent photos and photo sets, reflecting the sophistication in layout, color, lighting and especially the sensitive eyes of the user. This is truly a land for authors to practice their skills, skills and working methods, while expressing creativity and enthusiasm.

Looking forward, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh emphasized the message "Vietnamese Corrdance" of the 2025 season as a reminder of the spirit of commitment and professional responsibility.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes in each category: Current Current Current Current Current, Social Life and Sports, along with 10 Top 10 works, recognizing the contributions and creativity of photojournalists nationwide.
