From July 1, the whole country will officially operate the two-level local government model after the National Assembly passed a resolution to merge, reducing the number of provinces and cities from 63 provinces to 34 provinces.
According to information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, to mark this special historical event, all pagodas and monuments across the country will simultaneously send three bells and drums at 6am on July 1 to pray for national peace.

Famous spiritual destinations, especially the sacred mountains from North to South, are chosen by many Buddhists and people to pray for national peace, prosperity and peace during this time. This is also a way for people to spread pride and hope that the country will increasingly develop prosperously in the new era - the era of national growth.
Entering the sacred mountain, Fansipan sent a bell to celebrate the country
In the North, in Fansipan - "roof of Indochina", the bell-sending ceremony will be solemnly held at Bao An Thien Tu, in the Fansipan spiritual and cultural complex at 6:00 a.m. on July 1.

Located at an altitude of 2,900-3,143 meters above sea level, the Fansipan spiritual and cultural complex is a place where large-scale national-state prayers for peace and security are often held on major national holidays. The cluster of spiritual and cultural works here has a purely Vietnamese ancient pagoda architectural style such as: Bao An Thien Tu, Bich Van Thien Tu, Kim Son Bao Thang Tu. This place also has many spiritual destinations such as Dai Phat Tuong A Di Da, Quan The Am Bo Tat, Vong Linh Cao Dai, the Sacred Tower and the La Han road running along the mountainside. This is considered a spiritual architectural cluster of special significance, arousing an abundant spiritual source, enhancing the mysterious spirit of the highest mountain peak in Indochina.
The bell-sending ceremony on the morning of July 1 is the moment for Buddhists to pray for national peace, arousing the strength of national unity and the sacred soul of the country's mountains and rivers.

In the North, besides Fansipan, Buddhists and tourists can attend bell-ringing ceremony at many pagodas on other sacred mountain peaks such as Long Doi Son pagoda (Ha Nam) or Yen Tu pagoda (Uong Bi, Quang Ninh). Bao Hai Linh Thong Tu (Ha Long) is also an extremely peaceful spiritual place for Buddhists to connect at the moment of sending the sacred bell on the top of a high mountain, in the middle of a green pine hill, towards the majestic Ha Long Bay.
Tam Linh Ung Tu Da Nang celebrates a historic moment
In the Central region, Da Nang city is famous for its sacred triangle called "Tam Linh Ung Tu" - three pagodas named Linh Ung located in Ngu Hanh Son, Ba Na and Bai But - Son Tra Peninsula. This will be a place for Buddhists and tourists to enter the historical moment of the country with a bell-sending ceremony on the morning of July 1, and relax in the space of lush green mountains and forests with massive and majestic architectural works.

On top of Ba Na, the bell-sending ceremony will be held at the bell tower and Linh Ung Pagoda. Located at an altitude of about 1,400m, Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda is a place where visitors can admire the majestic natural scenery, and make wishes for peace in front of the giant Buddha Shich Ca Mau Ni sitting meditating on the majestic lotus platform.

The mountain considered the most sacred and containing many legends in the South is Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh. This place is associated with the legend of Linh Son, the Holy Mother of the cross to save lives, and a system of centuries-old pagodas that are considered the foundation of Tay Ninh Buddhism.

At the highest mountain in the South, the bell-sending ceremony and the pray for national peace will be solemnly held at Linh Son Tien Thach Tu - the oldest pagoda in the Ba pagoda system located on the top of a mountain. After the 3-year-old recitation ceremony, Buddhist monks and tourists will attend the feast to pray for peace in the country, and for peace in all people under the protection of Linh Son, the Holy Mother of Bo At - a sacred symbol of the people's beliefs here.

In addition to Ba Den Mountain, Buddhists can also attend bell-setting ceremonies at pagodas on famous sacred mountain peaks in the South such as Chau Doc Pagoda (Sam Mountain, An Giang), Buu Quang Tu (Chua Chan Mountain, Dong Nai). For Buddhists across the country, the bell-sending ceremony on the morning of July 1 is considered a special moment, demonstrating the spirit of "Buddhism accompanies the nation in every historical journey".
