After the performance at Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest, 111 Miss World 2026 contestants continued to participate in activities on life skills and fitness in Hai Phong.
This is part of the nearly month-long journey of the competition in Vietnam.
Contestants participate in Head Chef Beauty, the first cooking challenge to appear at Miss World. They are divided into 10 teams, receive readily available ingredients and must build a menu according to healthy criteria.
Within the limited time, each team must choose ingredients, pre-process, process, decorate dishes and prepare a presentation before the judges. In addition to flavor and form, the ability to coordinate between members is also an important criterion.
Because they come from many countries and have different culinary cultures, the contestants must unify the menu, divide work and adjust their tastes. Many groups choose salmon, brown rice, vegetables and fruits to create a balanced nutritional meal.
Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc belongs to team 2, along with representatives of Portugal, Wales, Trinidad and Tobago, Croatia, Kenya, Bolivia, Mauritius, Sierra Leone and Gibraltar. After two rounds, the team of the Vietnamese beauty won.
Bao Ngoc took on the presentation, introducing the menu idea and processing method. This is the first outstanding result of the host representative after more than a week of participating in the competition.
The beauty said that she felt comfortable when entering the challenge because she used to live independently in Ho Chi Minh City and often cooked for herself. The performance also helped Bao Ngoc show her ability to communicate, connect and coordinate with members with different cultural backgrounds.
After the 16th Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest on August 18, the contestants entered the Sport Challenge. In the first round, 111 beauties competed on a 1,500m long race. The organizers selected 24 contestants with the best achievements to continue.
Three outstanding representatives in the running event include Puerto Rico, Northern Ireland and Australia. Then, contestants who have the ability and desire to participate in the active swimming event are divided into competition groups. Northern Ireland, Ireland and Spain are the three beauties leading this competition.
Based on the summary results, Puerto Rico, Australia and Northern Ireland are in the Top 3 of the Sport Challenge respectively. Puerto Rican representative Suil Anyelina Pagán won the overall victory.
The result helped Suil Anyelina Pagán become the first contestant to win a fast track competition at Miss World 2026, thereby being specially admitted straight to the Top 40. This is a significant advantage of the Puerto Rican beauty in the crown-grabbing journey.
Sport Challenge not only assesses speed and endurance but also tests the will, discipline and ability to distribute physical strength of contestants when having to compete continuously.
After the Hai Phong leg, the Miss World 2026 delegation will move to Khanh Hoa to continue important competitions such as Talent Show, Head to Head Challenge, closed interview, Dances of the World and Beauty With A Purpose. The final is expected to take place on September 5.
