Stable entry
Miss World 2026 takes place in Vietnam from August 11 to September 5, gathering 111 contestants from many countries and territories. The representative of the host is Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, born in 2001, from Can Tho.
Bao Ngoc once won the title of 1st runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2022 and was crowned Miss Intercontinental in the same year. Therefore, she entered the competition with stage experience, camera skills and better competitive psychology than many contestants participating in an international arena for the first time.
In the early days, the Vietnamese beauty showed confidence, regularly interacting, filming videos and connecting with other representatives. Her fluent English ability helped her be proactive in conversations, group activities and working sessions with the organizers.
At the opening ceremony on the evening of August 12 in Quang Ninh, Bao Ngoc appeared in a red ao dai, holding a conical hat in her hand. With a height of 1.86 m, she made a mark on her figure and showed steady steps. In the ending, the beauty switched to an evening gown, exploiting the advantage of her long legs and performance experience.
In the green carpet event afterwards, Bao Ngoc chose a purple pleated design, makeup in a gentle style. Instead of constantly using elaborate dresses, she changed her outfits according to the nature of each program, from feminine, formal to simple and dynamic.
Bao Ngoc's current form can be assessed as stable, safe and with few mistakes. She has not created a truly explosive moment, but maintains a radiant, proactive image and has a presence in general activities.

Leading predictions
On August 14, the beauty pageant website Sash Factor of the Philippines put Bao Ngoc in the first position in the Miss World 2026 prediction chart. Following the representative of Vietnam are contestants from Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia and the Czech Republic.
This is a notable step forward because before the opening ceremony, Sash Factor once ranked Bao Ngoc in third place, after representatives of Brazil and Chile. Previously, Queen Crown News also predicted that the Vietnamese beauty would be crowned.
These rankings show that Bao Ngoc is receiving attention from international beauty followers. However, this is just an independent prediction, not the result or score of the Miss World judges.
As of August 16, the competition has not announced important sub-competitions. Therefore, Bao Ngoc has not yet officially ranked in Sports Beauty, Top Model, Head-to-Head Challenge, Talent, Media or Beauty with a Purpose.
The biggest basis for expecting Bao Ngoc to go deep lies in her comprehensiveness. In addition to physique, foreign languages and competition experience, she also has a good academic record and a relatively clear social activity process.
Bao Ngoc's Beauty with a Purpose project focuses on climate action and promoting the leadership role of youth. According to the Miss World homepage, she founded Gen Zero, participated in building the Vietnam Youth Declaration on climate, mobilized more than 6,000 volunteers and contributed to collecting 35 tons of garbage.
This is a significant advantage because community activities always play an important role in the criteria of Miss World. If shown convincingly in the confrontation round and bringing environmental projects into the outstanding group, Bao Ngoc has a basis to compete for a position in the Top 10, even Top 5.
However, predicting to be crowned at this time is still early. The home advantage brings great encouragement but also creates pressure for the Vietnamese representative. Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic and many countries with strong traditions are still noteworthy opponents.
