Muong Bi Khai Ha Festival (January 7th and 8th of the lunar calendar)
After the merger, the former Hoa Binh province contributed epic cultural features of the Muong people.
At the beginning of spring, the Khai Ha Muong Bi festival (Muong Bi commune) is the largest folk festival, carrying the meaning of praying for good luck and going to the fields for a favorable new year.
The highlight of the festival is the ritual of carrying the palanquin of Queen Mother Hoang Ba and the forest opening ceremony, attracting the attention of a large number of tourists from the former Hoa Binh province and neighboring areas.

This is also an opportunity for tourists to admire the performance of Muong gongs by hundreds of artisans, creating a majestic and echoing sound of mountains and forests, arousing pride in their roots.
Along with that, the festival also has folk games such as crossbow shooting, rafting and enjoying can wine right in the valley, creating a brilliant and most authentic spring atmosphere of the Northern mountains and forests.
Linh Tinh Tinh Phoc" Festival (night of the 11th, early morning of the 12th day of the first lunar month)
Tro Tram Festival, also known as the "Linh tinh tinh phộc" festival, is held annually at Mieu Tro, Tu Xa commune, former Lam Thao district (now Phung Nguyen commune, Phu Tho province).
This is a unique festival imbued with the fertility beliefs of ancient agricultural residents, bringing laughter and refreshment to visitors from all directions.

Highlight of the "Secret Ritual" festival at Mieu Tro (Du Di Temple). When the lights go out, the chant "Linh tinh tinh phoc" sounds, symbolizing the harmony between heaven and earth, men and women to pray for all things to multiply.
This festival is concerned with research and preservation as a living museum about the spiritual life of ancient Vietnamese people. The humor and simplicity of Tro Tram is an interesting contrast to the solemnity of other major festivals in the region.
Hai Luu Buffalo Fighting Festival (January 16th and 17th)
Held in Hai Luu commune, Song Lo district, former Vinh Phuc province (now Hai Luu commune, Phu Tho province), the Hai Luu Buffalo Fighting Festival is one of the oldest buffalo fighting festivals in our country.
The festival is not only competitions of "Ong Cau" (a revered way of calling fighting buffaloes) but also a village tutelary god procession ritual imbued with education about courage.

The "Ong Cau" (respectful name for fighting buffaloes) are carefully selected, specially cared for, bringing attractive matches with martial arts moves such as "bo dao", "tang hau", attracting tens of thousands of tourists.
After many decades of interruption, the festival was restored in 2002, preserving its profound spiritual, cultural and community values.
The festival brings a vibrant, bustling atmosphere, is the pride of the people of Song Lo land, contributing to preserving identity and developing local tourism.
Tay Thien Festival (opening on February 15th of the lunar calendar)
Located in the heart of the Tam Dao mountain range, the Tay Thien festival invites pilgrims to carry out the journey "To Buddha, to Mother Goddess".

The ceremony part has solemn rituals such as reporting ceremony, palanquin procession ceremony, incense offering ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony. The festival part is vibrant with many cultural and sports activities...
Coming to the festival, hearing the sound of pagoda bells blending in the clouds of Tam Dao, visitors will have a secular, pure space in the early spring days.
Hung Temple Festival (from March 1st to 10th of the lunar calendar)
In any era, the Hung Temple festival is still an immutable symbol of national solidarity.

The biggest highlight is the incense offering ceremony on March 10th, where "Lạc children, Hồng grandchildren" from all over the country, overseas Vietnamese gather to express gratitude to ancestors and predecessors.
For many consecutive days before March 10, the festival organized a series of activities such as: Xoan singing contest, Chai swimming contest, banh chung wrapping contest, banh giay pounding contest... Along with many unique cultural, artistic and sports activities.
