According to Box Office Vietnam, as of the morning of January 23, the movie "Van dam yeu em" only sold 2 tickets (in one screening), collecting 100,000 VND. Total film revenue reached about 83.6 million VND.
On the weekend, the film continued to be sluggish when it only sold 80 tickets out of 29 seats, collecting 5.9 million VND, before almost withdrawing from the entire theater system and is expected to officially leave the theaters on January 28.
Ten Miles Loving You" is a Vietnam - India film cooperation project, with Kha Ngan as the female lead, paired with Indian actor Shantanu Maheshwari.

The film revolves around a romantic love story across national borders, cultural differences, misunderstandings and many-year upheavals between the two central characters.
The project was once expected to be a vibrant start for Vietnamese box offices at the beginning of the new year, and at the same time become a bridge to promote tourism with a series of familiar settings stretching from Da Nang, Da Lat, Phu Quoc to Ho Chi Minh City.
However, the familiar motif and lack of breakthrough implementation make it difficult for the work to create attraction when released in theaters, especially in the context of having to compete with more noticed names such as "Ba ke con nghe" or "Thien duong mau".
Besides, the film also faced disadvantages right from the promotion stage when the communication campaign was quite lackluster. On social networks, posts on the official fanpage of the film had low interaction, even many posts almost did not receive feedback, showing the audience's indifference to this film project.
Despite possessing international cooperation and the expected cast, "Van dam yeu em" still did not create a strong enough emotional connection with the audience - an important thing for a movie to stand firm in the box office.
