On March 3rd, thousands of people from many provinces and cities flocked to Thu Dau Mot ward (Thu Dau Mot city, formerly Binh Duong province) to participate in the full moon festival of the first lunar month. This is a large festival with a focus on the procession of Ba Thien Hau palanquin.
According to records, this noon, thousands of people turned to Ba Thien Hau Temple to burn incense and worship. Due to too many people entering at the same time, the main hall is always crowded, people have to jostle to enter to burn incense.
Here, many images of people picking up ashes in the main hall incense burner appeared. Notably, there were cases where people even touched the incense burner and applied it to their heads. Some others picked up ashes in the incense burner and then put them in banknotes or lucky money envelopes. These people believe that bringing incense ashes home can bring good luck. Therefore, they took a little ash and put it in the banknote and brought it home.

The organizers continuously broadcast loudspeakers requesting people to keep a distance and not jostle each other. At the same time, requesting people to only bring 1 stick of incense inside the main hall.
Notably, to ensure safety and prevent theft, local security forces and mobile police are deployed inside Ba Thien Hau Temple. Security forces have continuously reminded people to keep their property safe while ensuring culture and order when going to festivals.
According to the Organizing Committee, at 3 pm today, the procession of Ba Thien Hau palanquin for spring travel takes place on the streets of Thu Dau Mot. At this time, tens of thousands of people will go to the festival. The Organizing Committee is organizing traffic regulation.
