This is Min Hee Jin's 4th press conference, after the press conferences in April and May 2024, January 2026. In the first two press conferences, Min Hee Jin appeared directly, but she was absent for the 3rd time.
Opening today's press conference, Min Hee Jin said: "I have very important things to say, so I will both read and explain." Then, she began reading the long statement she had prepared.
The main content of the statement is that Min Hee Jin is willing to give up the money received from the option to sell shares worth 25.5 billion won that she plans to receive from HYBE Group, on the condition of ending all legal disputes here.
Min Hee Jin emphasized: "The most urgent reason I made this decision was the NewJeans members.
She added: "I propose that, in exchange for my renunciation of 25.5 billion won, all ongoing civil and criminal lawsuits must be immediately stopped and all disputes must be terminated.
This request not only applies to me personally but also includes NewJeans members, external partners, former ADOR employees, as well as the withdrawal of all denunciations and lawsuits against the fandom that has been hurt by this battle.
Only when all legal disputes end, will artists, their families and fans no longer have to endure unreasonable noises.
I can't continue to witness the reality that while all 5 members should be happy on stage, they have to stand in court. With such a torn mood, it is impossible to create a good culture.

Min Hee Jin affirmed: "For me, there are many values more important than money. When my sincerity has been confirmed, I want to show the world that there are values that are more precious than money.
I hope this decision to give up 25.5 billion won will be sublimated into the common development and harmony of the Kpop industry. Where HYBE and I should stand is not the court but the creative stage".
Min Hee Jin also sent a message to ADOR - NewJeans' management company: "When I debuted NewJeans, I had a creative vision. I am very sorry that I could not complete it. Therefore, I hope ADOR currently fulfills its promise in court that "if NewJeans returns, I will treat them well".
Please create an environment so that all 5 members can freely pursue their dreams together. Opening up a path for artists to shine again - that is the only role that adults need to do.
Previously, on February 12, Civil Court No. 31 of the Seoul Central Court rejected HYBE Group's lawsuit against Min Hee Jin and related parties, regarding the confirmation of contract termination between shareholders.
In addition, in the lawsuit filed by Min Hee Jin requesting HYBE to pay for the purchase and sale of shares related to the exercise of the option to sell, the court ruled that HYBE must pay Min Hee Jin an amount of about 25.5 billion won (nearly 470 billion VND).
Before this first-instance ruling, HYBE appealed, so the legal dispute is expected to continue at the appellate level.
Min Hee Jin's side has filed a request to freeze and recover the debt to HYBE, but HYBE has filed a request to temporarily suspend judgment enforcement, requesting to suspend the validity of the first-instance judgment until there is a final ruling in the appellate trial.
After the court accepted HYBE's request to temporarily suspend judgment enforcement, the procedure for temporarily freezing assets was suspended.
