During the April 30 - January 1 holiday this year, Moc Chau National Tourist Area is forecast to continue to welcome a large number of tourists. Records at accommodation establishments show that room occupancy is high, many places are fully booked early.

Although room rates have a slight increase compared to normal days, the quality of service and accommodation and experience are still guaranteed.
Moc Chau plateau area currently has over 300 accommodation establishments with many different segments, from homestays, budget guesthouses to hotels and resorts.
To serve the peak period, local authorities have requested establishments to strictly implement regulations on fire prevention and fighting, security and order, environmental sanitation, and at the same time strictly control price listing, not allowing unreasonable price increases to occur.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Chairwoman of Moc Chau Ward People's Committee, said that there are currently 45 accommodation establishments and 92 service restaurants in the ward, ready to serve tourists.
All facilities are required to improve the quality of rooms, embellish the landscape, and ensure conditions to welcome guests during peak seasons.

In community tourism villages, the demand for accommodation is increasing sharply. Ban Vat, Muong Sang commune with more than 30 households doing community tourism is entering its peak period. Many homestays have been fully booked since the beginning of April.
Mr. Vang A Thanh, owner of A Thanh homestay, Chieng Di 1 village, Van Ho commune, said: "Bookers book rooms nearly a month ago, mainly from other provinces and foreign tourists. During holidays, room rates increase by about 10-15%, ranging from 500,000 - 800,000 VND/room, but we still maintain service quality, ensuring cleanliness and convenience.
Not only focusing on prices, accommodation establishments also invest in upgrading rooms and improving services.
Ms. Luong Thi Hong Tuoi, owner of Hoa Moc Mien homestay, Vat Hong residential group, shared: "We renovate rooms, add amenities, and prepare accompanying services such as dining, cultural exchange to enhance the experience for tourists. This occasion is expected to double the number of visitors compared to the weekend.
According to research, the room segment under 1 million VND/night continues to be chosen by many tourists. 3-star hotels are priced from about 1,500,000 VND/night, 2-star hotels from 900,000 VND, while budget motels and homestays range from 300,000 - 500,000 VND/room/night. This price is considered suitable for the general level, without major fluctuations.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Anh (a tourist from Hai Phong) said: "My family has been in Moc Chau for two days now, I booked a room early so the price is quite reasonable. The room is clean, the space is airy, the landlord is friendly. Compared to many other tourist destinations, the price in Moc Chau is still affordable.
Besides accommodation, ensuring overall service quality is also emphasized. Business establishments are required to comply with food safety regulations, maintain environmental sanitation, and build a civilized and friendly tourism image.

Balancing prices and service quality is considered an important factor helping Moc Chau plateau retain tourists. Although the number of visitors increased during the holidays, with careful preparation and strict control, the accommodation market here still maintained stability.
With the advantages of climate, landscape and proactiveness in improving service quality, Moc Chau continues to affirm its attractiveness as an attractive resort destination, especially during peak seasons such as the April 30 - May 1 holidays coming up.
