The collaboration song "APT." by Rose Blackpink and Bruno Mars quickly took the world by storm when it was released in October 2024, immediately topping the charts and becoming popular globally.
Since then, "APT." has continued to be a standout track on Rose's debut album "rosie", maintaining its dominance on global music charts.
Now, Rose has another award to add to her list, as the official music video for "APT." just broke a significant record.
Previously, "APT." made headlines when it became the first music video to break BTS's Dynamite's record as the fastest K-pop music video to reach 600 million views.
“APT.” has now passed another impressive milestone — the song just broke PSY’s “Gangnam Style” record — as the fastest K-pop video to reach 700 million views.
This is especially notable considering the explosive popularity of “Gangnam Style” when it was released in 2012.
For 12 years, Gangnam Style held the record for the fastest K-pop music video to reach 700 million views, achieving the feat in 118 days compared to Rose's 70 days.
Fans are now speculating that "APT." will soon hit the 1 billion views milestone.
