The first poster of the movie " Tai" made a strong impression thanks to the space imbued with the West and the emotional cinematic atmosphere. The center of the layout is the image of a man standing on a clogged barge (a boat) in the middle of a large river, quietly moving forward.
Along with the poster, the first look was also released, revealing the first footage of "Tai". Opening is the view from above of a peaceful Western countryside with vast green fields. However, that atmosphere was quickly broken by a woman's harsh lines: "Don't think, just turn around and work well to become a clean person. If your hands are soaked with indigo, it will be difficult to wash them.
Although not yet revealed, this voice makes many audiences think of artist Hong Anh with her familiar voice and dialogue. The character is predicted to have a thorny color, different from the actress's previous images.
The character Tai played by Mai Tai fen was clearly revealed for the first time in the context of the fish market. He appeared as a truly honest worker: carrying goosebumps, a toned body, dark skin and a majestic appearance typical of Western men. Not flashy, not painted, this image creates a very real and close feeling.
The scene of Tai sitting alone in the middle of the river, quietly reflecting on the words of the mysterious woman shows the character carrying many thoughts, haunted by the past and trying to escape it.
First-look continues to bring the audience to more intense segments, revealing the underground world of smuggling cigarettes in the border area - where Tai was once a part of the "usury" convoy. The film's fast pace and cold color are completely opposite to the initial peaceful atmosphere. The climax was a situation where Tai crashed into the car of an old scrap collector on the side of the road. In a state of half-ciousness and half-ometricity, he saw a girl holding a bond for himself - a character predicted to bring a light of hope and open a new path for Tai.
In addition, the first-look also introduces supporting characters such as Uncle Tu (Long Dep Trai) and Dat (Vinh Rau). Uncle Tu's humorous line partly reveals the diverse entertainment color that the film is aiming for, true to the crew's sharing about a multi-layered work of emotions.
" Tai" is the next film project produced by My Tam, and also marks the filming opportunity of Mai Tai phen as director. After his mark with the Binh Bao web-drama, he is expected to make a new step forward when taking on three important roles at the same time.
Sharing about the project, Mai Tai phen said he wanted to tell his own story, with the spirit of a committed and enthusiastic young person.
On the producer's side, My Tam said she was convinced by the determination and potential of the young director. The female singer shared that the film will be a blend of many colors, combining action, love and life elements, creating a harmonious whole.
