On December 18, many parents went directly to Trung Vuong High School (HCMC) to check the kitchen and watch the students' lunch.
Mr. Trinh Van Thoai, a member of the school's Parents' Representative Board, said that he had previously been to the school many times to check boarding meals.
Mr. Thoai said that through observation, seeing fresh food with clear documents of origin, however, regarding the quantity of salty dishes, he said that there are many different opinions.
"Some parents think that the meals are enough, but others say they are less than the appetite of male students," said Mr. Thoai.

Similarly, Mr. Le Trung Kien, another parent, said that parents in the class responded that the meals were good for women but few for men, depending on each student's ability to eat. However, the quantity divided by the dishes is not uniform, some dishes look full and vice versa.
Ms. Luong Bich Nga - Vice Principal of Trung Vuong High School said that for each meal, the catering unit always keeps a part, the school also keeps another part for making samples, if there is any problem, the quality can be checked immediately.
Regarding the quantity of each meal, Ms. Nga said that after the reflection, the school worked with the meal supplier.
"The kitchen has also agreed to adjust, the salty dishes are more complete. To ensure adequate student meals, the school will strengthen supervision, especially for salty dishes," said Ms. Nga.
Ms. Nga said she would strengthen inspection work. Ms. Nga also proposed a plan to keep the current price, students can buy extra food from the canteen or bring extra food from home.
Previously, on December 17, a photo of a boarding meal believed to be for students at Trung Vuong High School was circulating on social media.
Accordingly, the meal only includes pork, white rice, stir-fried green beans and dessert. The poster reported that this was a meal worth 40,000 VND from the school. Below the comments, many people think that with a value of 40,000 VND, the amount of food as in the photo is too small.
