Not just a performance, "See the light" is considered an important milestone in My Tam's artistic journey of more than 25 years. The event marked the return after the success of Tri Am live show.
On December 13, the weather turned cold, thousands of spectators still wore "check-in" clothes, standing under the cold wind in My Dinh, singing with My Tam.
With more than 40,000 audiences, My Tam became the first Vietnamese artist to organize 3 live shows at My Dinh.
See the light is invested in a "super concert" scale with a stage of more than 75m wide, a catwalk of more than 40m long, a 1,650m2 LED screen system and international standard sound and lighting. More than 1,000 employees worked continuously for 14 days to complete the entire technical part.
My Tam herself also admitted that this was the first time she was "overwhelmed" by her own stage and called See the light "a historic moment". Throughout the program, there is a message of light of faith, hope and inspiration for a positive life.
The concert opens with familiar songs associated with My Tam's name such as Rooti thang Nam, Giom Tinh yeu, Nhe anh, leading the audience back to the nostalgic youth memories. Next is a series of quiet, emotional songs such as Muoi mang la gioi gian, Noi ta stat, Ten uoc tu ho bat, Neu co mai tay, are mixed with new, creating a seamless flow of emotions.
In particular, right on stage, My Tam suddenly announced a film project to be released in the Spring of 2026, marking her anticipated return to the film industry.
Excessive emotions with the mashup
Entering the middle of the program, the concert atmosphere became stronger and more vibrant with energetic songs such as Vi em act don, Sai, Dung hoi em, Ngay anh di.
The peak was the song See the light, when 40,000 spectators simultaneously turned on the lights, turning My Dinh Stadium into a sea of light and emotions, true to the spirit that the program wanted to convey: not retreating in the face of challenges and always believing in the light ahead.
One of the most memorable highlights is the mashup My Tam - Den Vuong with Anh Duoc Duoc Duoc Duoc Duoc - Di Duoc Nhap and Xic Lo - Di Duong Son.
The two musical personalities seem to be opposite but blend naturally, creating moments of explosive both emotion and stage energy. The two artists' harmonious debut brought a musical journey from simple everyday life to the desire to rise up.
During the show, My Tam also scored strongly when handling the technical problem of in-ear right on stage. Instead of avoiding it, she frankly shared with the audience and decided to completely covered the song Nhu a mo, showing professionalism and respect for the audience.
In addition to the performance, the concert also brought close moments of interaction with Hoa Minzy and the participation of guests such as Duc Phuc, Erik, Truc Nhan, helping the music night to be more colorful.
Closing the program was the image of My Tam cycling, decorated with flowers, moving around the stadium to greet the audience - a simple, rustic but emotional moment.
See the light is not just a concert, but a festival of music, light and emotion, affirming My Tam's persistent position and opening up promises for the artistic stages ahead.
