Ly Hai - Minh Ha are the pioneering artists present in this relief effort. On November 23, the first zero-dong bus sponsored by him left Ho Chi Minh City carrying hundreds of boxes of necessities to Dak Lak. On the morning of November 24, the vehicles arrived in Dak Lak and were supported by the Provincial Police to be distributed to isolated communes. The artist couple personally lined up from the gathering point, diligent like professional transporters.
Ly Hai shared: "Every gift is carefully prepared. People have just experienced a great loss, I just want to help ease their burden somewhat".
Runner-up Hoang Thuy hurriedly flew from Hanoi to Khanh Hoa as soon as she read the news about the flood. She brought 70 million VND in cash and necessities, accompanying the South Central Mobile Police Regiment to reach deeply flooded areas. When facing the people in the flooded areas, she choked up as she shared: "I have been to many places, but I have rarely witnessed such a great loss. I wish I could have done more.
Miss Huong Giang, who had just returned from the Miss Universe contest, immediately set off to Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak with the journey she called "returning home". The parts of instant noodles, milk, and warm blankets were personally given to each household. She also transferred 100 million VND to help people in flooded areas.
Many other artists also contributed with simple but warm actions. Thuy Ngan has prepared a truck of rice, milk, medicine, water and cakes to send to Dak Lak. Miss Khanh Van and her friends prepared instant noodles, drinks, and boxes to send to the Central region. Runner-up Quynh Chau supported 1 ton of rice, 200 boxes of water, 100 boxes of milk and 1,000 warm blankets for Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak.
In addition to charity trips, many artists choose to support by transferring money directly to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the provinces.

Duc Phuc transferred 300 million VND to Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai, and provided additional 100 million VND to Dak Lak through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Rapper HieuThuHai transferred 400 million VND right on stage of a program in Ho Chi Minh City, connecting many more benefactors through QR codes.
The fundraising activity was also expanded with the "Southern Love" music night, gathering more than 20 artists, raising funds for the Tam Long Viet Fund.
Amidst the dark storms and floods, the appearance of artists as a warm bright spot reminds us that love has never fainted on this land. It can be seen that each artist is just a small spark. But when many spots of fire are lit up at the same time, they create a warm flame, lighting the way for thousands of people struggling after the flood.
