After episode 2 of the program "Tinh Ha Say Hi" aired on the evening of July 11, the song "Xoay Vong" performed by the HURRYKNG team became a topic of discussion on social networks when many videos appeared next to the song "Nerves" for comparison, thereby raising questions about the use of melody.
On the afternoon of July 13, the program producer issued an official announcement, denying allegations related to plagiarism.
According to the production unit, "Rotation" was built independently by the team and does not copy melodies from any musical works. Records provided by the producer show that the production process used some commercial audio resources that have been purchased and legally licensed from professional suppliers.
The producer said that the videos circulating on social networks only assembled short segments between "Xoay vòng" and "Nerves", thereby making unfounded inferences about the origin of the song, affecting the program's reputation.
To clarify the issue, the program worked with producer Do Cam Khang (KADO) - the main producer of the beat of "Rotate".
On the official channel of the program, KADO posted a video analyzing the process of creating the mix. In the video, the producer successively separates each layer of sound used in the beat, helping the audience follow the structure of the song before combining it into a complete version.
Then, KADO set aside the drums of "Nerves" and "Xoay vòng" for direct comparison, while comparing the remaining sound layers between the two songs. According to the producer, when combining all the components, the two mixes are completely different.
The production unit also said that it is still keeping complete records, data and documents related to the creative and production process of the song to serve verification when necessary.
The program affirms respect for critical opinions and professional analysis based on music products. However, in cases of intentionally disseminating or spreading false information, accusing, insulting and causing damage to the honor and reputation of artists, production crews as well as businesses, the unit will collect evidence, make written records and request competent authorities to consider and handle according to the provisions of law.
