On May 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh province announced that it had just announced a series of activities for the Quang Binh Tourism Week 2025, taking place from May 22 to May 30 with more than 10 unique cultural, sports and tourism events, ranging from destination surveys, tourism product development seminars to culinary festivals, arts and fireworks displays.
The program opens with a series of field surveys at prominent tourist destinations such as Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Bao Ninh beach, resorts, camping areas and green tourism products. More than 100 travel businesses, experts, and journalists will participate in researching and developing new tourism products to attract domestic and international tourists.
A notable highlight is the Quang Binh Tourism Product Development Seminar, gathering about 150 delegates from central agencies, other provinces, tourism businesses, airlines... to discuss solutions for sustainable tourism development, reducing seasonality and enhancing product value.
The art event "Quang Binh - applied for love" will take place on the evening of May 23 at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area, with the participation of many famous artists such as Ho Ngoc Ha, People's Artist Thuy Linh, rapper Hoang Viet Danh... along with electronic music, modern lighting, inspiring people and tourists. Then there is a 10-minute low-altitude fireworks display, promising to create a brilliant space on the Dong Hoi coast.
Food space and tourism promotion of provinces and cities will also be held at the walking street and Regal Legend urban area with more than 70 food stalls, OCOP and beer experience, street art, and folk performances. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the culinary quintessence of the three regions, immerse themselves in the vibrant festival atmosphere.
In addition, Tourism Week also organizes an exhibition of Vietnamese literary and artistic achievements over the past 50 years; festivals of folk cultural clubs; a series of open-ended sports competitions such as badminton, swimming, pickleball and a launching ceremony for mass sports.
Many new tourism products and services at resorts and attractions will also be launched, combined with promotion on digital platforms. Through the event, the Quang Binh tourism industry hopes to create a breakthrough in the number of visitors, increase experiences, and spread the image of "Quang Binh - an attractive and different natural destination".
Quang Binh Tourism Week 2025 is not only an annual tourism festival, but also a forum to connect businesses, a space to honor local culture and a new wind to promote the development of green and sustainable tourism in the context of international integration.
