On the evening of February 16th (ie, the 29th of the Binh Ngo Tet), the program "Hai Phong welcomes Binh Ngo Spring - 2026" was held at the square of the City's Political - Administrative Center (Thuy Nguyen ward, Hai Phong city) with the participation of dozens of famous artists inside and outside the city.
Accordingly, the opening of the program is an opening from art, combining contemporary folk light, EDM and festival drums, creating a magnificent and unique performance space.
The art program consists of 2 parts: Chapter 1 "Spring gathers - Forever resounding pride" with performances "You are the bud of the Party and Vietnam, oh spring has come", "First spring", "My hometown port" expressing pride in Hai Phong with the tradition of "loyalty - determination to win".
Spring Gathering" evokes the first spring to expand the development space with Hai Duong and Hai Phong (old) into a new Hai Phong, inheriting the proud journey of formation and development of "Eastern Land of Culture - Heroic Portland". "Echoes of Pride" is an affirmation of a sustainable spiritual foundation, continuing the future journey of Hai Phong, especially for the young generation.

One of the highlights of the program is the participation of Meritorious Artist Quang Thang - a son of Hai Phong. He will perform with artists the works "Going Home" and "This Tet I Will Come Home", elaborately staged with Hai Phong's characteristic sounds such as train whistles, car horns, familiar cheering sounds, evoking memories and deep homeland feelings.
The program gathers many famous artists: People's Artist Thai Bao, People's Artist Khanh Hoa, People's Artist Nhat Thuan and singers Minh Quan, Hoang Hai, Van Mai Huong, Erik, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Pham Anh Duy, An Thu An, Dinh Quang Dat, Van Anh, Ngoc Hieu, Hong Hanh, Thu Huyen, Cao Phu Quy, MC Minh Hang - MC Cong To, Hai Phong children and artists operating at professional theaters in the city.
After the art program, there was a fireworks display held for the first time on New Year's Eve at this location. This year, Hai Phong City decided not to set off fireworks at the City Opera House area, but to move to the new Political - Administrative Center.
