On the morning of March 3 (Vietnam time), the 97th Oscar Awards took place at the Dolby Theater, honoring the best cinematic works of the year.
"Anora", "Conclave", "Wicked", "The Substance"... were honored one after another, while the most prestigious award - Best Film - is still a mystery.
Of the 10 films nominated for Best Motion picture, more than half have won at least one Oscar.
Netflix's "Emilia Perez" despite facing controversy over Karla Sofia Gascon's past tweet lines, still helped Zoe Saldaña win Best Supporting Actress for her role as Rita Mora Castro.
Zoe's win for the Oscar has made history as she is a Dominican-American who won first prize in the Golden Swallow award at the world's biggest film award.
On stage to receive the award, Saldaña was moved and proud to say: "I am a child of immigrant parents with dreams, dignity and hard work. I am the first Dominican-American to win an Oscar, and I know I wont be the last.

Emilia Perez also topped the nomination list this year at the Oscars with a total of 13 nominations, just one nomination behind the three films with the most nominations in Oscar history, including All about Eve (1950), Titanic (1997) and La La Land (2017).
In addition to "Emilia Perez", the two films "Anora" and "Conclave" were honored in the Best Originals and Adaptations categories.
Conclaves screenwriter Peter Straughan was honored in the Best Adapted Screenplay category for a script adapted from a novel by Robert Harris, while Anoras Sean Senior won two awards for Best Original Screenplay and Best Feature Film.
When receiving the award, Cooper expressed his gratitude to the prostitute community for sharing their stories, helping him create a realistic and emotional film.
One of the biggest surprises of the awards night was the "Best animated film" category when "Flow," a non-language film from Latvia, surpassed DreamWorks' "The Wild Robot" to win.
Gints director Zilbalodis emotionally shared: "Thank you to my dogs and cats". This is the first time a Latvia film has won an Oscar.
"Wicked" also left its mark when Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo opened the ceremony with emotional performances.
This musical later won two important awards: " Production Design" and "constriction Design".

"The Substance" won the Best Chemical and Hairstyline Award thanks to its haunting creations about beauty and the body.
Meanwhile, "Dune: Part Two" continued to dominate the technical categories with the awards for "Imagical effect" and "Best sound".
This year's Oscar Awards mark one of the most unpredictable seasons in many years, taking place in the context of the film industry facing many difficulties.
The strikes in 2023 greatly affected the film release schedule, causing many projects to be delayed.
However, the Academy still hopes to attract the attention of the audience even though there are no blockbusters like "Oppenheimer" or "Barbie" like last year.
