Recently, Park Bom suddenly posted a long handwritten letter on social networks. In it, she spoke out for the first time in detail about the scandal related to banned substances in the past, and at the same time made accusations aimed at her former management company YG Entertainment.
Opening the letter with the message "To everyone", Park Bom said she is still living and working hard, but decided to share a scary story.

The content of the letter wrote:
To everyone, I am Park Bom...
Today, I am writing this letter because I want to share the truth and have things to say to everyone. Are you still healthy? I am still healthy, not sick and am trying to live well. I intend to talk about something that requires caution and is also very scary...
I was worried that I would cause another public uproar, but the Adderall psychotropic drug scandal that I was once involved in always weighed heavily like a rock in my heart. I really don't want to mention this again... I'm afraid that if everything becomes noisy and appears in the news again, it will be the path that leads me to ruin.
At that time, I felt like I was dead. But I still wanted to have all the courage to speak out. The Adderall I used was not drugs. I am a patient with ADD, a condition also known as attention deficit disorder. But to cover up Sandara Park being caught red-handed using banned substances, they turned me - Park Bom into a drug addict.
At that time, Korea did not have specific regulations on Adderall as well as my mental illness. But strangely, after my incident, new laws were formed... I earnestly hope that netizens will understand exactly what happened.
Lastly, I really hope YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk, Teddy Park and Lee Chaerin (CL) will immediately stop reporting to state agencies that Park Bom has used banned substances in excessive doses for nearly 30 years, while in fact I have never used them once...
I write these lines because I feel my soul is crying. Thank you everyone for reading.
Previously, in October 2010, Park Bom was handled under suspension of prosecution for importing Adderall – a drug on the control list – from the US to South Korea without customs declaration. According to information released at that time, Adderall contained an amphetamine component - a substance classified as a psychotropic drug.
To prove the purpose of treatment, Park Bom submitted a medical record and a prescription that lasted for many years, thereby confirming that the drug she used was a treatment drug containing an amphetamine component, not pure amphetamine, and was prescribed according to medical indications.
This is not the first time the female singer has taken action to denounce. In October last year, she posted an article targeting Yang Hyun-suk, claiming that he did not fully pay for revenue from the 2NE1 group's activities, and publicly filed a lawsuit. However, the current management company, D-Nation Entertainment, issued a statement affirming that the settlement related to 2NE1's activities has been completed and no lawsuit files have been received as she posted.
After that, the company announced that Park Bom would temporarily stop operating to focus on treatment and health recovery.
Debuting in 2009 as a member of 2NE1, Park Bom quickly became a prominent voice with a series of hit songs. After the group disbanded in 2016 and left YG Entertainment, she became a solo artist from 2019 and made her mark with songs such as "Spring", "You and I", "Don't Cry", "Do Re Mi Fa Sol".
Last year, Park Bom and the members reunited to organize a concert, but from August, they had to stop operating due to health issues.
