Recently, SBS station (Korea) organized an event to introduce a TV series called "SBS Drama: Next Episode", announcing a series of upcoming projects.
Among the works introduced by CEO Hong Sung Chang of Studio S, there is a special project that attracts the most attention, which is "DASH" - a movie starring actress Shin Hye Sun.
Mr. Hong expressed great confidence in this project when he said: "DASH, with the participation of Shin Hye Sun, will be SBS's "ultimate secret weapon" movie next year.
This statement immediately attracted great attention from the media and audiences.
DASH" is expected to air in the first half of 2027, continuing SBS's Wednesday-Thursday slot after "Nine to six". In Korea, the film will also be released on Netflix.
The film combines many genres such as law, detective, criminal and romance. The content revolves around female prosecutor Min Hwa Young (played by Shin Hye Sun), who falls into a dilemma between love and justice when her husband becomes the main suspect in a murder case.
Min Hwa Young is the Head of the No. 1 Special Investigation Department of the Seoul Central Procuratorate. After overcoming countless political pressures to climb to the peak of power, she suddenly faces the biggest shock of her life when her husband is caught up in a murder investigation.
The film explores her inner struggle between two roles: a wife and a prosecutor responsible for finding the truth.
Combining judicial elements with mystery and romance, "DASH" promises to bring psychological tensions far beyond a normal investigative film.
DASH" marks Shin Hye Sun's first return to SBS after about 9 years since the dramas "The hymn of death" and "Still 17".

At the beginning of this year, she impressed through the Netflix movie "The Art of Sarah". Most recently, the tvN weekend drama "Filing for Love" starring Shin Hye Sun and Gong Myoung also just closed with positive results.
Currently, Shin Hye Sun is filming a new movie for Netflix "Love o' clock", and "DASH" will be her next project.
For a long time, Shin Hye Sun has been highly appreciated for her diverse transformation ability.
In "Stranger", she plays young female prosecutor Young Eun Soo with a combination of intense ambition and depth of tragedy.
More recently, in "Dear Hyeri", she took on two different personalities of a character suffering from dissociative identity disorder, continuing to prove her acting ability.
Her ability to handle legal terms and heavy emotional scenes is often considered one of the most outstanding strengths in the current Korean actress lineup.
In "DASH", Min Hwa Young must simultaneously express the pain of a wife forced to doubt her husband and the objective coldness of a prosecutor looking for the truth. Shin Hye Sun's way of portraying this contradiction is expected to become the biggest highlight of the film.
Actor Kim Jun Han will co-star with Shin Hye Sun in "DASH" as the male lead.
The interest in "DASH" is also increasing as there is information that actress Kim Seo Hyung is discussing to participate in the movie.
