Law and the City (Vietnamese title: Seocho Ward Lawyer) revolves around 5 lawyers - Ahn Ju Hyeong (Lee Jong Suk), Kang Hui Ji (Moon Ga Young), Cho Chang Won (Kang You Seok), Bae Mun Jeong (Ryu Hye Young) and Ha Sang Gi (Im Seong Jae) as they together overcome challenges in work and daily life.
The 12-episode drama officially ended on the evening of August 10, with a viewership rating of 7.7%, the highest since its broadcast, according to Nielsen Korea.
Belonging to the slice of Life genre, the film Seocho Ward Lawyer focuses on exploiting civil cases, along with the stories of 5 young lawyers and gently telling them through the lens.
In the final episode, Ju Hyeong decided to establish her own law firm, Hui Ji switched to being a public defender, while Chang Won became a prosecutor, Sang Gi studied for a PhD. Mun Jeong is the only person to continue working at Hyomin law firm after giving birth.
The audience rated the ending of the film " Seocho Ward Lawyer" as not too unpredictable. The regrettable point of the work is that Ju Hyeong and Hui Ji's appearances in the final episodes are quite limited. Their love line was also not deeply exploited.
