Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the special zone, said that the special zone sets out the requirement to establish a mechanism to receive and handle complaints at the scene with a fast and thorough spirit. Apply sanctions according to the provisions of law and publicize the names of violating establishments for acts of intentionally defrauding or insulting, overcharging tourists.

Ms. Loan said that the plan specifically divides into 2 groups of solutions. Urgent solutions such as organizing a seminar between local authorities and representatives of tourism businesses to frankly assess and jointly agree on solutions and actions.
The Special Zone also requested the An Giang Provincial Department of Tourism to send an official dispatch to exchange online platforms providing tourism products in Phu Quoc (hotels, tours...) to obtain the database of all organizations and individuals doing business in services on these platforms.
Establish a Hotline in at least 2 languages to quickly connect and respond to tourists' feedback. Establish a Tourist Support Center in Phu Quoc Special Zone under the Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee. Including a "Quick Response Team" including: A rapid response team in cyberspace and a rapid response team at the scene.
Organize the announcement of the program "Phu Quoc - Trusted Destination", which amends and supplements the 2026 Code of Civilized Tourism Behavior and requires business establishments with taxi drivers, tour guides, and service staff to sign commitments to implement.
Launching the movement "Each citizen is a tourism ambassador". Arranging volunteers, youth, and foreign language union members to be on duty at airports, wharves and tourist hotspots during peak season to provide free information guidance.
Ms. Loan also said that she will organize a tourism event before the New Year; businesses sign commitments to implement "Reliable Destinations".
Regarding long-term and regular solutions, the special zone will bring sustainable tourism content into the education of local programs and events, businesses, and residential group activities.
Coordinate with schools to include content about history, specialties and tourism communication skills in extracurricular lessons. Organize gratitude to visitors to localities or individuals who have contributed to the development or promotion of Phu Quoc's image.
Establish an emergency first aid network at tourist hotspots, directly organize basic first aid skills training for small traders and workers, and coordinate to publicly announce the list of standard medical facilities on the official information page.

The special zone police preside over and coordinate with agencies and businesses to develop a plan to establish a Tourism Support Center in Phu Quoc special zone to operate the 24/7 Hotline and coordinate the Rapid Response Team at the scene, ensuring security and order and connecting and promptly intervening in arising cases.
The Urban Order Inspection Team, Market Management Team No. 4 require business establishments to list prices and commit to selling at the listed prices according to regulations. Organize the campaign "I love Phu Quoc - I do decent tourism", propagate to each household and small trader about preserving the image of Ngoc Island.
