According to Chinese media, former manager Luong Dinh - who has supported many Chinese artists - publicly posted a long letter sharing about his journey with actress Tan Chi Loi, and expressed many complicated emotions after the two ended their collaboration.
According to Luong Dinh, she first met Tan Chi Loi in 2007 at an event with Chan Tu Dan and immediately recognized her potential. After that, the company provided comprehensive support, from accommodation, skills training, and periodic remuneration to creating audition opportunities. Thanks to this investment, Tan Chi Loi quickly took on the female lead role in many television and film projects and studied at the Central Academy of Drama.
During the period 2008-2014, Luong Dinh affirmed that he had used his relationships many times to bring Tan Chi Loi closer to great opportunities, even introducing her to Chau Tinh Tri. She emphasized that she has never made a profit from the actress, but has focused all her heart and finances on building her image.
However, in 2015, on her birthday, she received a lawsuit from Tan Chi Loi with the reason "managing doing nothing". Although he won the lawsuit and received a compensation, Luong Dinh said that it could not compensate for 8 years of effort. Since then, the two sides have almost cut off contact, only occasionally having unexpected calls while drunk. Recently, through actor Truong Soai, Tan Chi Loi is said to have expressed her kindness and gratitude.
In the letter, Luong Dinh also denied the rumor that Tan Chi Loi had acted in many or participated in poor quality films. She affirmed that all today's achievements, including the Miss Festival Venice award, all come from the foundation built early. Although she once felt "betrayed", she said she still wanted to one day be able to reconcile and even cooperate again in the film industry.
In addition to the story with Tan Chi Loi, Luong Dinh also mentioned other artists who have collaborated. She highly appreciated Doan Chinh for publicly thanking him on stage and placing high expectations on Thanh Nghi - the person she thought that just a successful movie role would become an A-list star.
Concluding the letter, Luong Dinh affirmed that he was legally responsible for all statements, and emphasized that he would continue to contribute to cinema.
Regarding Tan Chi Loi, she has not yet spoken about this.
