Before the shocking news about artist Quyen Linh's company being late in paying social insurance (SI) of 2.1 billion VND, on the morning of November 20, Lao Dong reporter contacted artist Quyen Linh to ask more about the matter.
Responding to Lao Dong Newspaper, the male artist said: "I have heard about this incident of the company, but currently the company has not contacted me so I do not know clearly what the situation is. In the past few days, I have been busy filming a new program."
When the reporter mentioned the handling direction, artist Quyen Linh said: "In the company, I am just a shareholder, contributing a small part. I am not the person with the authority to decide everything. So, I am waiting for the company to have a solution and then respond later."
Previously, on November 19, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announced a list of more than 15,700 employers in the area that were three months or more behind on social insurance payments, as of October 31, 2024. Notably, among them was Quyen Linh Artist Company Limited with a late social insurance payment of more than VND 2.1 billion, with a delay of 5 months.
Quyen Linh Artist Company Limited was established in August 2018 with an initial charter capital of VND9.79 billion. The company's main business lines are the production of cosmetics, soaps, detergents, polishes and household protection products. According to the registration information, as of February 2020, the charter capital of Artist Quyen Linh Company Limited was increased to 20 billion VND. At the end of 2021, the company continued to increase its capital to 60 billion VND and by April 2023, the company increased its charter capital to 100 billion VND.
Currently, the charter capital of Artist Quyen Linh Company Limited is at 200 billion VND.
