On the afternoon of June 30, the national promotional film project "Profile Dat Nuoc Cua Toi" (Vietnam: Beyond Words) was officially announced in Hanoi. The project is sponsored and coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Cinema Department, with the goal of creating the most comprehensive national image promotional film ever.
The work will depict the beauty of nature, historical depth, cultural identity and Vietnamese people throughout 34 provinces and cities along with the sea and islands of the Fatherland in modern cinematic language.
Speaking at the project announcement ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that cinema is an art form with the ability to transmit a very large amount of information and has a strong spreading power. Many destinations, cultural values and identity of a country when introduced through cinema will quickly be known to the public around the world.

According to the Deputy Minister, in Vietnam, many localities such as Ha Giang, Phu Yen, Ninh Binh... have recorded strong growth in tourism after appearing in films. Therefore, the combination of cinema and tourism is a necessary direction, creating conditions for the two fields to develop together.
I hope ministries, branches, localities, departments of culture and press agencies will create the best conditions for the film crew to have the most beautiful scenes, the best stories, so that we can make an official film about Vietnam made by Vietnamese people themselves to promote the country and people of Vietnam," Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized.
The film is invested in images and sound according to cinematic standards, made by Vietnamese filmmakers in collaboration with international experts. The crew hopes to bring a work that is attractive to domestic and international audiences.
Film director Luong Dinh Dung said: "Profile Dat Nuoc Cua Toi" is built from the perspective that each region, each person is a separate story, and no words can fully describe Vietnam. Through emotional frames, the project wants to evoke the need to explore the country, and at the same time create a continuous, professional narrative about the image of Vietnam.

According to the plan, the film will be released on November 24, 2026, on Vietnam Culture Day. After being announced, the work will be screened at cultural events at home and abroad, and released on digital platforms.
The project also aims to integrate QR codes at diplomatic missions, border gates, hotels, public places and means of transport so that tourists can easily access content promoting Vietnam.
At the same time, the project sets a double goal of arousing the pride of Vietnamese people and becoming a "cultural ambassador" bringing the image of Vietnam closer to international friends.
