On June 20 (local time), the National Museum of Korea officially announced that RM assumed the role of global ambassador through the unit's media channels. This is the first time the museum has appointed a person to hold the position of global ambassador since its establishment.
According to the announcement, RM had a tour with Director of the National Museum of Korea Yoo Hong Joon at many important exhibition spaces. The male singer was introduced to the special exhibition "Amazing Thailand: Masterpieces of Thai Art" and the thematic exhibition "Danwon Kim Hong Do: Painting an Era". During the tour, he spent time learning about precious artifacts and typical art collections being preserved at the museum.
