
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, along with leaders of departments, agencies, branches and a large number of people in the highlands.
The program "Spring Colors of the Highlands - Warm Compatriots" is a meaningful cultural and social security activity, contributing to bringing the early Tet atmosphere to people in western Nghe An, and at the same time spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in ethnic communities.
Within the framework of the program, many practical activities are organized such as Tet fairs, stalls giving social security gifts, making banh chung, folk games, health check-ups, consultations and free medicine distribution, thereby taking care of both material and spiritual life for people in mountainous areas.

At the event, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Khac Than presented flowers in gratitude to agencies, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists who have accompanied and joined hands to support the program, contributing to bringing a warm Tet to mountainous people.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh emphasized that for many years, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province have always paid attention to mobilizing the strength of the entire political system and the social community to care for Tet for the poor and policy families, ensuring that all people can welcome Spring in a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's program has mobilized more than 15 billion VND from socialized sources, focusing on supporting poor households and families in difficult circumstances in the western region of Nghe An.

The western region of Nghe An is a land rich in cultural identity, home to the Kinh, Thai, Tho, Mong, Kho Mu, O Du ethnic groups... In recent years, thanks to the attention of the Central Government and the province, this region is having positive changes in infrastructure, agricultural and forestry development, ecotourism, community tourism, while maintaining national defense and security.
In an art space imbued with national cultural identity, the festival night is divided into three chapters "Colors of the Mekong Delta", "Warm feelings of compatriots" and "Western New Day", vividly recreating the life, soul and aspiration to rise up of the highland people.
The highlight of the program is the brilliant fireworks display organized from socialized sources, held for the first time in Que Phong commune, creating a joyful and emotional atmosphere in the Spring festival night.
At the end of the program, delegates and people harmonized in traditional dances, further strengthening the solidarity between ethnic groups in the western region of Nghe An.
