Inspired by the famous saying "Never cause trouble with an old man in glasses", the film ignores a failed legal system to punish criminals with absolute power.
Witnessing Kim makes the villains kneel down and beg for their lives, instead of easily forgiving them, giving the audience a sense of justice being served along with extreme excitement.
The center of the film is So Ji Sub, who is considered to have a powerful presence, supporting the entire work. The 48-year-old actor conquered the audience with a role with few lines, mainly conveying emotions with sharp eyes and powerful expressions.
This work is achieving comprehensive success in both ratings (viewership) on Korean television and views on global online platforms.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 4 of "Agent Kim Reboot" recorded a nationwide rating of 21.6%, helping the drama become the 3rd highest-rated Friday-Saturday drama in SBS history, only behind "War of the Upper Class 2" (29.2%) and "The Fiery Priest" (22%).
