On the evening of October 18, in Bangkok (Thailand), the final night of Miss Grand International 2025 ended with a convincing victory for the Philippine representative - Emma Mary Tiglao.
The runner-up positions respectively belonged to representatives from Thailand, Spain, Ghana and Venezuela.
Emma Tiglao's victory not only helped her become the focus of Asian media, but also marked the first time in the history of the Philippines to win the Miss Grand International crown for two consecutive years.

Emma Mary Tiglao was born in 1994 in Pampanga, Philippines. Before coming to Miss Grand International, she had made her mark in many beauty pageants: Runner-up of Mutya ng Philippines 2012, Top 15 Binibining Philippines 2014, and Binibining Philippines Intercontinental 2019, where she represented the country at Miss Intercontinental 2019 and reached the Top 20 finalists.
However, few people know that Emma is also a journalist and television editor. She currently works at Net 25, a television channel owned by Eagle broadcasting Corporation - one of the major stations in the Philippines.
Here, Emma took on the role of anchor (newspaper reader) for the news program, and was also the host of " kada Umaga" - a morning talk show loved by the audience.

In many interviews, Emma shared that she was deeply influenced by veteran journalists such as Karen Davila and Pinky Webb, who brought news with all their hearts and social responsibility.
Moving from journalism to beauty pageants is a big challenge, but the press environment has trained her to be calm, proactive and critical thinking - factors that help her shine in the behavioral competition at Miss Grand International 2025.

During her upcoming term, Emma Tiglao will represent Miss Grand International to attend a series of community events, media and international activities.
With a professional journalism foundation and community service spirit, she is expected to not only be an inspirational beauty queen but also a responsible voice, contributing to spreading the message of global peace.
