Localities in Thai Nguyen that were heavily affected by the recent historic floods are urgently overcoming the damage and stabilizing people's lives.

Na Ri commune, Thai Nguyen province is one of the localities that suffered heavy damage from the recent flood with many damaged constructions and infrastructure such as schools, medical stations, and offices.

According to statistics from the People's Committee of Na Ri commune, Kim Lu Kindergarten was flooded in three buildings, all desks, chairs and learning equipment were damaged, a village cultural house was deeply flooded, and furniture inside was damaged. The Na Ri wholesale market project was flooded, causing damage to goods of about 180 business households.

Rising floodwaters and rapid flow caused Na Ri Ethnic Boarding School to be isolated, forcing teachers and students to move to a safe place.
