According to Korean media, Suga used his remaining day off and ended his final working day in the army on June 18. Although his official discharge date is June 21, he no longer has to report to the military. His leave was used through a standard and approved process.
Suga began his replacement military service on September 22, 2023. During his service, he also participated in a period of basic military training.
After finishing their service, fans are looking forward to the complete reunion of all BTS members. On June 13, Suga was seen attending J-Hope's solo concert wearing a sweater and a mask. His appearance increased fans' expectations for the return of the entire group.
BTS has been on a hiatus since Jin, the group's oldest member, enlisted in December 2022. Each person, the members have fulfilled their obligations. Jin was discharged from the military in June 2024, followed by J-Hope in October 2024. RM and V completed their mission on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook were discharged from the army on June 11.
On June 13, BTS celebrated their 12th anniversary. To celebrate this event, management company Big Hit Music, under HYBE Labels, held "2025 BTS FESTA" on June 13 and 14 at KINTEX in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. On the same day, J-Hope held his final performances and first solo world tour at the Goyang Sports Complex's main stadium.
With all 7 members now discharged from the army, the audience is increasingly excited when the group returns and performs future activities.
