On February 4, the Vietnam Records Organization organized the awarding of 2 Vietnam Records to a stamp collector couple in Nui Sap town, Thoai Son district, An Giang province, now Thoai Son commune, An Giang province.
Accordingly, the record "Collection of Vietnamese and world postage stamps with the largest number of topics on culture, history, and life, participating in exhibitions and winning many domestic and international awards" was awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Tran Huu Hue and Vuong Thi Mui Em.
Mr. Tran Huu Hue himself was also awarded the Vietnamese record "Person with a 60-year journey of researching and collecting postage stamps at home and abroad, owning 24 collections of valuable thematic stamps. At the same time, he has contributed to guiding and developing the stamp collection movement in schools, churches, communal houses and pagodas for 20 years (from 2006 to present)".
It is known that Mr. Tran Huu Hue was born in 1951, started collecting stamps when he was only 14 years old. After 6 decades, he and his wife, Ms. Vuong Thi Mui Em, have collected and owned a massive fortune in domestic and world postage stamps. Mr. Hue himself also has 20 years of introducing and inspiring stamp collection for the community, as well as sharing cultural, historical and social life values through stamps.
