On the evening of September 20 (local time), at Live Arena - the most modern performance center in Moscow (Russia), the final round of the Intervision International Music Competition 2025 took place.
Singer Duc Phuc - representative of Vietnam - was crowned champion with an explosive performance of "Phu Dong Thien Vuong".
Duc Phuc received 422 points, winning the first prize, while the runner-up group Nomad Trio from Kyrgyzstan won 373 points. Dana Al Meer from Qatar is in third place with 369 points.
This is the first time Vietnam has a representative participating and winning the Intervision International Music Competition 2025.

To prepare for this event, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directly directed the selection of national representatives.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong shared: "We set clear and strict criteria when selecting artists to represent the country to participate in the Intervision International Music Competition 2025, which are: Artists must have extensive experience in stage performance, suitable for the music genre of the competition; Choose songs that grasp international music trends, have the ability to have a strong influence; own impressive artistic achievements and have ethics and professional personality, and be admired by the audience. And singer Duc Phuc has fully met these criteria".
Duc Phuc and the dance troupe conquered the audience with the performance "Phu Dong Thien Vuong" (songwriter Ho Hoai Anh). Opening with Nguyen Duy's Vietnamese Bamboo Quartet: "The green breeze, the green is always/ The story of the past has a green bamboo bank...", the performance took the audience from the image of a resilient bamboo tree to the symbol of Thanh Giong riding an iron horse flying into the sky.

All lighting effects, choreography with bamboo props and traditional props combined with modern choreography. The rap in three languages: Vietnamese - English - Russian sent a strong message: "Today we together make history".
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong affirmed that Duc Phuc's victory is the common pride of Vietnamese music.
"This is not only the personal achievement of the artist, but also demonstrates the serious and methodical preparation of the Ministry in selecting, training and supporting young musical talents to reach international standards. The Ministry will continue to create conditions for many Vietnamese artists to shine on major stages around the world," said the Deputy Minister.
