"Vietnam's Victory" was directed by Bo Öhlen on April 30, 1975 . The work records the vibrant atmosphere in Stockholm on the day Saigon was liberated, marking the end of the War in Vietnam.
This is an unprecedented film, reflecting the spirit of solidarity of the Swedish people during the war years, and the joy of knowing that Vietnam had won.

At the award ceremony, Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi emphasized: "This documentary depicts the deep friendship between Sweden and Vietnam. It reminds us that, at that difficult time, people around the world, including Sweden, stood up to support Vietnam."
He added: "Through the film, we not only see the bravery and resilience of the Vietnamese people but also recognize the human values of peace and solidarity.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Ta Quang Dong said: Vietnam's victory is an important documentary. Talking about the process of making the film, director Bo öhlen said that he not only wanted to record historical events on April 30, 1975 but also wanted to convey the emotions and spirit of strong solidarity in Sweden at that time. This is the gratitude from the director's heart for the Vietnamese people and the struggle for independence of the Vietnamese nation, as well as the support from the international community.
He added: "I am very happy that the film has become a part of the national archives of Vietnam. I hope the film will continue to inspire international friendship and solidarity, even in difficult times".
