The People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City Region 2 has just received the case file with the plaintiff being Mr. Trinh Tran Phuong Tuan (singer Jack-J97) and the defendant being Ms. Tran Nguyen Thien An (27 years old, residing in Hiep Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) from the People's Court of Thuan An City, the old Binh Duong Province (now the People's Court of Region 16 - Ho Chi Minh City).
This case was previously handled by the People's Court of Thuan An City, the old Binh Duong Province, because the court based on the lawsuit provided by Mr. Phuong Tuan, determined that Ms. Thien An resided in Lai Thieu Ward, Thuan An City, the old Binh Duong Province.
However, through verification, Ms. Thien An did not reside, temporarily reside and did not live here. Therefore, the court requested Mr. Phuong Tuan to provide information and legal basis to prove Ms. Thien An's current residence so that the court could carry out legal procedures according to regulations, but the case of officer Jack - J97 could not provide as requested.
Then, on June 9, the old Thuan An City People's Court received Ms. Thien An's petition via post with the content of asking the court to consider suspending the case that had been accepted because it was not under the authority of this court to resolve.
According to the court, the content of the petition determined that Ms. Thien An was living in Hiep Binh Phuoc ward, Thu Duc city, old Ho Chi Minh City (now Hiep Binh ward, Ho Chi Minh City). Through verification, the police confirmed that Ms. Thien An is currently living at this address.
Therefore, the old Thuan An City People's Court transferred the case file to the old Thu Duc City People's Court (now the People's Court of Region 2) for settlement according to its authority.
According to the case file, at the end of May 2025, Mr. Phuong Tuan requested the court to determine that T.N.Y.D was his child. Mr. Tuan requested that Ms. Thien An not have the right to prohibit Mr. Tuan from fulfilling his responsibility as a father and grandchild.
In addition, J97 Entertainment - the management company of singer Jack - J97 has spoken out to refute false personal information about singer Jack - J97 through a series of previous press releases.
According to Jack - J97, the male singer's company will hold a press conference to officially publicize evidence and documents related to the previous relationship between the male singer and actor Thien An.
On the evening of May 26, J97 Entertainment and Jack officially spoke out about the scandal between him and actor Thien An - Jack's ex-girlfriend.
The male singer's representative confirmed that he had filed a complaint against Thien An due to a series of recent scandals.
"We have filed a complaint against Ms. Tran Nguyen Thien An to the competent authority for the act of posting articles on her personal Facebook page on January 19, 2025 and January 20, 2025.
Although Ms. Tran Nguyen Thien An said that she did not mention artist Jack's name, the content of the articles caused many media units to interpret and provide seriously distorted information in public opinion. Through the process of working with the authorities, we learned that Ms. Tran Nguyen Thien An had to remove the confusing articles immediately afterwards" - Jack's side said.
Jack's side said that it stemmed from Mrs. Tran Nguyen Thien An's termination of contact, preventing Jack from visiting and meeting T.N.Y.D since his birth until now, along with Mrs. Tran Nguyen Thien An's "unclear" statements made it impossible for Jack to approach baby T.N.Y.D.
"But when to do another purpose, Jack was labeled as a father who abandoned his child, we strongly believe that the confirmation of his identity in this matter needs to be clarified" - Jack's side said.
After that, Jack filed a lawsuit with the competent People's Court to determine the father and child of T.N.Y.D, exercising custody according to the provisions of law.
