Dangerous Relationships" aired from March 31 on 3 major television stations: Dongfang, Beijing and Jiangsu (China). As a rare realistic-themed work by Sun Li after a long time, the film had a rather impressive start.
On its first broadcast day, the real-time rating of the film on all 3 stations was in the top. The film also opened on Douban with 8.2 points, once expected to become a "blockbuster".
However, after that, the film's rating tended to decrease. By the end of the episode, the average rating of the film on Dongfang TV was 0.3232%, Beijing was 0.225%, and Jiangsu was 0.1777%.
The hotness on the online platform also did not break through, the highest temperature index on iQiYi stopped at 7.914 points.
In her response, Ton Le frankly said that she had prepared mentally in advance for this result.

Ton Le also revealed that the crew once opposed her acceptance of the role. But she still decided to participate because the story of the character Nhan Linh moved her, especially when it came to the issue of the maturity of her 9-year-old daughter.
