On the afternoon of February 26, at a press conference providing information on socio-economic issues in the area, Mr. Truong Kim Quan, Deputy Head of the Heritage Management Department, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, said that at 7:30 am on March 6, at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, the Department of Culture and Sports will officially announce the Prime Minister's Decision recognizing 2 more national treasures owned by private and non-public entities.
In the 14th recognition phase, the whole country had 30 artifacts honored as National Treasures. In which, Ho Chi Minh City contributed 2 outstanding representatives from non-public collections.

Hoa Loc cultural pottery bowl (dated 4,000 - 3,800 years ago): Currently kept at the Pottery Museum during the founding of the country. This is a "treasure" of the Vietnamese metal era, proving the skillful pottery craftsmanship and sophisticated aesthetic thinking of ancient Vietnamese residents in ancestral worship rituals.
Multi-colored enamel pottery statue set of Tam Quan Dai De (dated at the end of the 19th century - early 20th century): Belonging to the private collection of Mr. Le Thanh Nghia. The set of statues is typical of the pinnacle of traditional handicraft pottery, deeply reflecting the folk religious life of the South.
This event not only honors the special value of the artifacts but also affirms the State's recognition of the persistent efforts of non-public individuals and organizations in preserving national heritage.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports assessed that this is proof of the effectiveness of the cooperation model between the state and the private sector, contributing to bringing cultural values closer to the public in the digital age, fostering identity and creating spiritual motivation for the sustainable development of the city.
As of 2025, Vietnam has 357 artifacts and groups of artifacts recognized by the Prime Minister as National Treasures.
