HCMC adds more than 1,000 seats to the stands for people to watch the parade

HCMC - The Department of Culture and Sports of HCMC proposed to design four more stands with a total of 1,044 seats to serve people coming to watch the parade and parade.

The above information was shared by Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy at the Conference of the Party Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term (expanded) held on the afternoon of April 14.

According to the plan, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) will be held at 6:30 a.m. on April 30 on Le Duan Street (District 1).

The parade and march will take place at the same time as the celebration program, starting from the intersection of Nguyen Binh Khiem and moving through the main stand in front of Thong Nhat Hall.

After the parade and march, the groups will be divided into 4 directions to move to the gathering locations at Tao Dan Park, Ben Bach Dang Park, Hoa Lu Stadium and Le Van Tam Park.

In order to meet the needs of a large number of people, cadres, agencies and organizations wishing to directly attend the grand ceremony, the Department of Culture and Sports has advised the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to add four stands with a total capacity of 1,044 seats so that people can come and watch parades and parades.

Ho Chi Minh City will also install 20 LED screens on central routes so that people can directly watch the ceremony.

At the same time, coordinate with 22 districts, towns and Thu Duc City to arrange screens at public places, organize safe and orderly viewing areas.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy also said that the delegates are expected to have about 190 attendees, including representatives of the governments of Western countries and some Latino American countries that have supported the Vietnamese revolution, representatives of the US president who have influenced and contributed to the relationship between the two countries, countries with special relations with Vietnam.

In addition to parades and parades, Ho Chi Minh City also organizes a series of cultural and street art programs to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people. Outstanding activities take place on Saturday evenings, April 19 and 26.

A special highlight in the series of commemorative activities is the demonstration of 10,500 drones on the evening of April 30. The organizing committee is completing the dossier to propose setting a Vietnamese record for the largest number of drones performing at the same time.

On the two peak days of April 29 and 30, at Nguyen Hue walking street and Bach Dang wharf, people and tourists will enjoy special art performances such as: circus performance, surgery, backpacking, martial arts, flute music, flower boat on the Saigon River, talent song, tourist boat parade, sailing boat performance, flyboard, paragliding, waterjet performance, and many other attractive water sports activities.
