Regarding the process of forming the idea for the Tet film "The Four Guardians", Tran Thanh shared: "The film was conceived by me from a memorable tour with Le Giang and Le Duong Bao Lam. At that moment, I came up with the idea of making a comedy - where the audience can forget their worries and laugh with us at all situations in life."
The quartet including Uncle Muoi Mot (Tran Thanh), Aunt Bon (Le Giang), Chet-xi-ca (Le Duong Bao Lam) and Kieu (Uyen An) is built on the image of a group of people with many different personality traits, but have one thing in common: enthusiasm to the point of "destruction", influencing others without them knowing.
These characters, after the incident, realize their mistakes and gradually learn to think about other people's feelings.
Coming to his fourth film project, director Tran Thanh said: "50% of the character's success is proportional to the actor's suitability for the role. Therefore, I decided to organize a casting so that opportunities are spread to many people and I can find the most suitable names."
That is also the reason why when watching the film, the audience will feel the precision and tailoring that the director and crew have painstakingly built for each character.
Participating in the film "The Four Guardians", Le Giang and Le Duong Bao Lam are both "creative material" and special pieces of the film. Both meet the criteria of "acting as if not acting" set by the director.
Besides the quartet, the project also features the trio Quoc Anh (Quoc Anh), Quynh Anh (Tieu Vy) and Karen (Ky Duyen).
