On the afternoon of July 15, Tran Thanh posted a long status on his personal page, expressing his "powerlessness" at the fact that he could no longer fully memorize a young song.
The male MC said that he was really uncomfortable and blamed himself for spending time reading lyrics and practicing singing but still not being able to remember all the lyrics like when he was young.
I can hardly memorize a single young song," Tran Thanh wrote.
What makes Tran Thanh wonder is that he used to memorize a series of English songs by Celine Dion, Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, even remembering the album even though the lyrics and expression were not simple at all.
He successively made many hypotheses such as being too busy, not loving young music enough, or today's lyrics are harder to remember. However, Tran Thanh all refuted these reasons.
The male MC said that he really loves the music of Grey D, tlinh and Wren Evans, assessing that the lyrics of young artists are deep, not at all cliché. He also affirmed that he still feels the spirit of the songs and can sing along with the melody.
Finally, Tran Thanh humorously said that the reason may lie in age when memory is no longer as sharp as before. He also asked if anyone has experienced a similar situation.
Tran Thanh's sharing quickly attracted tens of thousands of interactions. Many middle-aged audiences said that they also encountered a similar situation, while many young people affirmed that they can still memorize the lyrics of new songs after just a few listens.
It is noteworthy that this sharing appeared in the context that Tran Thanh is still one of the MCs attached to many music programs for young people, especially "Tinh Ha say hi".
In the program, Tran Thanh continuously accompanied young artists such as Grey D, HURRYKNG, JSOL, Duong Domic, WEAN, Quang Hung MasterD, Song Luan... and many other faces.
Not only hosting the program, the male MC also regularly expresses his love for the performances, giving many compliments to the composing ability and musical thinking of the new generation of artists.
Tran Thanh's admission that it is no longer easy to memorize the lyrics of songs therefore surprised many audiences. Because despite always following music trends, regularly contacting new hits and young artists, he still has difficulty memorizing a song completely.
Tran Thanh's frankness is considered by many to be close, reflecting the general psychology of many audiences when age gradually affects memory ability, even though the love for music has not changed at all.
