While the members discussed the upcoming direction, RM suddenly shared: I wish our company had some affection for us. This statement quickly attracted attention, because RM rarely publicly mentioned internal issues with such a face-to-face tone.
The reactions of the remaining members were quite diverse. Jimin burst out laughing at the group leader's comments, while J-Hope asked, "Why? What is the reason?". Jin spoke up to defend the company again, saying that HYBE worked very hard for BTS. In response to those responses, RM further explained: I dont usually say things like this. I just don't know anymore. I hope they will care and treat us more.
This is not the first time RM has shown his frustration recently. Previously, on December 16, he publicly complained about the delay in announcing BTS's comeback schedule. Im crazy about wanting to get back. When will the company announce this?", RM shared with fans, showing the impatience and pressure he is facing.
During the conversation, the BTS leader also confided about his many-year-old mental difficulties. RM admitted that he had thought about disbanding or stopping the group's activities "a thousand times", but in the end continued because of the close bond between the members and the support of the fans. He also revealed that he is suffering from severe insomnia due to pressure, and said that there are reasons why BTS will not be able to perform in the second half of 2025 even though some members have completed their military service.
There are things I cant say because I dont have the authority, RM shared, making fans even more curious about the decisions behind the scenes.
Despite mentioning many heavy topics, BTS still sends a positive message about the future. RM affirmed: "2026 will be BTS' year. something really big is coming. This promise somewhat reassures fans, while the global music group is facing an important transformation after many years of continuous activities.
