On December 21, the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor informed that according to the plan, the first Phu Tho Provincial Trade Union Congress will be held for 1 day, December 26, 2025 at Hung Vuong University (Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Nong Trang Ward, Phu Tho Province).
The Congress was attended by 300 official delegates and 90 invited delegates representing 1,275 grassroots trade unions in the whole province.
Previously, on December 17, the Provincial Federation of Labor held an Executive Committee Conference to give opinions on a number of contents in preparation for the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress.
At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee implemented the personnel work process of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, term I, 2025 - 2030; participated in contributing opinions to the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 1st Provincial Federation of Labor Congress; approved the results of the activities of the Provincial Federation of Labor Inspection Committee for the period 2023 - 2025, and the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term.
On December 18, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a conference to approve preparations for the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030. The conference was chaired by Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Through studying the documents and draft documents, comrade Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor acknowledged the serious spirit of the Provincial Federation of Labor in the preparation process.
At the same time, it is required to fully absorb the comments of the Working Group, continue reviewing documents, personnel, propaganda and logistics to organize a solemn, safe and effective congress to create a wide range of political activities among union members and workers in Phu Tho province.
In the 2023 - 2025 period, trade unions at all levels in the province have concretized the resolutions of the Trade Union Congresses of the three old provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh; focused on innovating direction and management, closely following the targets, breakthroughs and key tasks in the Congress Resolution and achieved many important results.
The work of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers is focused on, contributing to ensuring regimes and policies for workers, promoting production and business development, building harmonious, stable, progressive labor relations, maintaining security, order and social safety.
