Marking the 25th anniversary of his singing career, Divo Tung Duong said he will dedicate a lot of energy and "daredevil" to perform the biggest live concert in his career - "Flying towards the sun".
Speaking about choosing the location as My Dinh Stadium, Divo Tung Duong admitted that he is a bit idealistic when this is a place with "fate" with him. "I feel like I am sublimated when standing on a large stage, with the spirit of bringing also as vast and immense as I imagined in music" - Tung Duong said.
With 50,000 spectators at My Dinh Stadium, it is a significant challenge for Tung Duong and his crew, however, the male singer admitted that the artistic nature is always like that, always dedicated and a bit reckless.
The 15th live concert was performed by Tung Duong to show gratitude to the audience because "I want to give everyone good values as a reminder to always live usefully and contribute more to the community".
Divo Tung Duong also revealed that the live concert "Flying towards the Sun" is the largest-scale investment ever in his career. With about 30 performances staged for the large space at My Dinh Stadium along with stage systems, sound, lighting, visual art, contemporary dance and modern performance technology.
Nearly 40 works will span many stages and many aesthetic areas that have contributed to creating the portrait of Tung Duong. Audiences will again encounter songs associated with the male singer's name but in new arrangements, structures and performance forms.
However, for Tung Duong, the value of a work does not lie in whether it belongs to "old" or "new". A great work always has the ability to go through time, be received, recreated and given a new life by another generation. That is also the spirit Tung Duong has pursued for many years: Respecting the values that have been established but not letting yourself live in the safe zone of the past.

Visual Art director for the live concert is Tung Monkey, a visual artist who stands out with experiments in multimedia art. Sound director Doan Chi Nghia will be in charge of the sound part of "Flying towards the Sun".
Divo Tung Duong also attracted attention when announcing 2 guest artists at the live concert, singer Phung Khanh Linh and GREYD. This is also the first time Tung Duong has stood on the same stage with two young, personality-filled artists. Besides, 3 other special guests of "Flying towards the Sun" are still kept secret by the male singer to give a surprise to the audience.
At the same time as the live concert takes place, Tung Duong is expected to release a new album with a youthful and energetic spirit called "Flying towards the Sun".
