According to information from the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, at the end of 2025, the Certificate of World Cultural Heritage of Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son Relic Complex and Monuments, Kiep Bac will be sent by UNESCO to member countries.
After that, 3 localities, including: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh will discuss and agree on the time, location, and scale of the World Cultural Heritage Certificate Ceremony. After the agreement, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be reported to to direct and guide the locality to develop an organization plan with an appropriate scale, commensurate with the stature and global value of the Relic Complex.
To prepare and organize the above event, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has sent a report to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the organization of programs and events. At the same time, there is a document requesting the People's Committee of Hai Phong city and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province to direct the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh to prepare to organize the program.
In the past time, especially in the past 5 years (2020-2025), the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh province, Bac Ninh province and Hai Phong city have focused on leading, directing, closely coordinating research and developing a dossier of Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac Monuments and Scenes Complex to report to competent authorities to submit to UNESCO for listing in the World Cultural Heritage list.

On July 12, 2025, at the 47th Session of the World Heritage Committee (UN UNESCO) held in Paris, the French Republic, the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son Relic and Scenic Landscape Complex, Kiep Bac of Quang Ninh Province, Bac Ninh Province and Hai Phong City were recognized as World Cultural Heritage.
The event of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Complex and Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage is a major and outstanding event of Vietnam in 2025. This is the second inter-provincial heritage in Vietnam, after the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, welcoming the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac Relic and Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province will organize a special art program "Yen Tu sound - A thousand-year heritage" at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow (8/17), at Minh Tam Square, Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province.
Within the framework of the program, there is an integration of content to announce the outstanding global values of the Heritage Complex and evaluate the efforts and effective coordination between the three localities in the process of building the dossier to nominate UNESCO to recognize the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac Monuments and Scenes as World Heritage Sites.
