On the afternoon of June 29, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 officially announced the two best fireworks teams that will compete in the final night taking place on the evening of July 12.
Accordingly, with the absolute score from the Jury including artists, artists and consultants - Global 2000, the Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam team and the Jiangxi Yanfeng - China team won the right to compete in the 2025 DIFF finals.
The decision was made based on the criteria for scoring each team's exam based on: uniqueness, design ideas and performance topics; Creativity, diversity and richness in effects and color intensity; Music choice, synchronization between music and performance; finish and quality of performance; judges' emotions and evaluations.
The performance of the two teams Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Ministry of National Defense and Jiangxi Yanfeng - China is considered two clear breakthrough performances, harmoniously combining high technology and separate cultural identity, while demonstrating the spirit of the common theme of DIFF 2025: "Da Nang - New Era".
Z121 Vina Pyrotech, also known as Chemical Company 21, under the General Department of Defense Industry - Ministry of National Defense, is a veteran unit in the field of fireworks production and display in Vietnam. With more than 50 years of experience and many achievements in major national events, this year marks the first time the team has entered the international fireworks arena at DIFF with a modern and creative performance style.
In an impressive "entertainment", rookie Z121 Vina Pyrotech brought a performance "Aspiration to Rise" recreating Da Nang's proud development journey - from heroic memories to the aspiration to reach out to the world. The performance was highly appreciated for its fireworks techniques, new and unique fireworks effects, captivating storytelling and profound, emotional music.
Z121 Vina Pyrotech's opponent in the final match is Jiangxi Yanfeng - a representative from China and also the current runner-up of DIFF 2024. Returning this season with the desire to conquer the highest position, the Chinese team affirmed their class in the third qualifying round with a creative performance called "Journey to the West".
Using self- researched and produced fireworks, Jiangxi Yanfeng makes a strong impression with its unique multi-layered color-changing effect, flexible, brilliant and attractive like a myth film by light. The meticulousness in the layout, along with the precise fireworks technique to each beat of music, made a strong impression on the audience and the judges. A fireworks display affirms the bravery of a leading fireworks power in Asia.
In the final competition night of DIFF 2025, each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks from the Organizing Committee and create a performance based on the number of fireworks provided. With the theme "Welcoming the new era", the final night promises to bring eye-catching performances, expressing the vision and aspiration to reach the city by the Han River.
