At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan on June 25, 2025 on organizing a special art program to celebrate the establishment of the new Bac Ninh province at the Bac Giang city bridge.
However, according to the weather forecast from June 27 to July 2, 2025 of the Bac Giang Province Hydrometeorological Station, the period from the night of June 28 to July 2, 2025 is forecast to be cloudy, with widespread moderate to heavy rain, some places have very heavy rain; the rain will be mainly concentrated in the evening, night and morning; the heavy rain will be concentrated from the night of June 29 to the end of the night of July 1, 2025.

The new Bac Ninh province, based on the merger between Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces, will officially operate from July 1.
The new province has a natural area of 4,718.6 km2, a population of 3,619,433 people, and the 5th largest economic scale (GRDP) in the country.
The newly established Bac Ninh province borders Hung Yen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen provinces, Hai Phong city and Hanoi city.
