On October 17, at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, after listening to reports from agencies and units on the Plan to build the President Ho Chi Minh Monument at the Hung Temple Historical Site, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee commented that the President Ho Chi Minh Monument is a symbolic work for the spirit of "Phu Tho - the land of the sacred Fatherland, the origin of the Vietnamese nation", a highlight of the architectural space and landscape of the center of the Hung Temple festival.
Therefore, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to urgently direct the implementation, promptly complete legal procedures, and report weekly progress.
"The President Ho Chi Minh Monument project not only shows the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho province to Uncle Ho, when completed, it will improve the quality of cultural and spiritual tourism infrastructure, creating a common force to develop the province's tourism industry. Therefore, the project must be planned synchronously, with high design value; auxiliary works such as trees and lighting must be arranged harmoniously and appropriately to be worthy of being a project of special historical and cultural significance" - Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary affirmed.
Secretary Truong Quoc Huy noted that the quality of the project must always be given top priority, requiring the project to be completed before Hung Vuong's death anniversary next year.
