Attending the opening ceremony were local leaders, departments, branches, unions, sponsors and a large number of people and tourists. From early morning, the central area of the commune was bustling with sports uniforms, and cheers echoed throughout the mountains and forests.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Giang A Tang - Vice Chairman of Mu Cang Chai Commune People's Committee emphasized that Mu Cang Chai terraced fields are a unique scenic spot, crystallized from the labor of the highland people.
In particular, the flood season brings a unique beauty when the rice fields are shimmering with water, winding like silk strips in the great forest.

From that advantage, the locality for the first time organized the terraced field climbing race to create new tourism products and increase the experience for tourists.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes embarked on a journey to conquer more than 100 terraced fields in Hang Dang De village - an area considered the most beautiful in the flood season.
The flexible steps overcoming mud and water, clinging to winding fields create an impressive image, both challenging physical strength and requiring dexterity.

Throughout the competition process, the athletes showed determination, solidarity and honesty. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding individuals in each distance.
Not only is it a sports playground, the tournament is also a journey to experience nature, where each athlete is immersed in the majestic scenery, feeling more clearly the hardship and endurance of the highland farmers.

Through the event, Mu Cang Chai continues to affirm the attractiveness of the destination with unique landscapes, rich cultural identity and friendly and hospitable people - ready to welcome tourists during the flood season, which is at its most beautiful time of the year.
