After 3 days of exciting performance (June 26-28), this year's festival attracted about 300,000 visitors, becoming one of the outstanding cultural and tourism events of Hanoi in 2026.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism said that unique cultural and tourism activities organized in many spaces around West Lake have brought deep emotions about the beauty of lotus and Thang Long - Hanoi culture, contributing to enhancing the attractiveness of Hanoi destination to domestic and international tourists.

Lotus petals still show off their colors by West Lake, thousands of people and tourists linger to capture the last moments of the festival season, closing a series of unique cultural festivals associated with the noble symbol of the Capital.
One of the outstanding highlights of the festival is the space "Lotus - Essence and Life" which introduced and promoted OCOP products, lotus tea, lotus silk and many traditional craft village products of Hanoi and localities across the country.
The space is also a gathering place for typical lotus areas such as Hue, Nghe An, Dong Thap, Bach Diep lotus in West Lake and lotus growing areas such as Ung Hoa, Gia Lam, Long Bien, Doai Phuong in Hanoi city, contributing to honoring the cultural, economic and tourism values of Vietnamese lotus flowers.


In addition, the space "Lotus - Art and Creativity" has become a stopover for many tourists, especially young people. Direct experiences with artisans help the public better understand the value of manual labor as well as the journey of preserving traditional crafts through many generations.
The festival space also becomes a "check-in spot" for people and tourists. The large lotus scenes, art miniatures, and elaborately designed display areas continuously attract a large number of visitors to record beautiful moments.
On social networks, thousands of images and videos about the festival have contributed to spreading the beauty of West Lake and Hanoi culture to a large number of friends at home and abroad.

The emotional highlight of the festival is the program "Lotus on the street" with more than 2,000 people performing ao dai with lotus motifs.
The activity to set a Vietnam Record "Hanoi Lotus Festival - Art parade and arrangement of the word'Lotus 2026' has the largest number of people wearing ao dai with lotus motifs participating in Vietnam".
Through this, contributing to honoring the beauty of lotus flowers, Vietnamese ao dai and traditional national cultural values.

The joy of the festival season is multiplied when "Quang An lotus tea marinating profession" becomes a national intangible cultural heritage and recognizes "Ho Tay tourist area and surrounding areas" as a new city-level tourist area.
This is an important milestone in the journey of preserving traditional values, and at the same time opens up opportunities for Hanoi to promote cultural heritage as a development resource, gradually making cultural tourism a key economic sector.
