By early afternoon, a convoy of cars with license plates from Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Hanoi... followed suit to pour in, causing the coastal parking lots to be packed. It is estimated that tens of thousands of people were present in Cua Lo in the afternoon alone.
To serve tourists, Vinh City People's Committee has arranged many free soft drink shower spots, and at the same time deployed free parking lots with control. Interdisciplinary working groups continuously patrol, monitor, and strictly handle the situation of "ripping off" prices, especially at restaurants, hotels, and seafood outlets.
Tourist Le Thi Hong (from Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) shared: "This year Cua Lo is too crowded, I have to walk nearly a kilometre to find a seat. But the service is better than before, especially free freshwater baths are very convenient.
Sharing the same feeling, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai (from Ha Tinh) said: "My family chose to go early to avoid traffic jams. This year, I see no more scandals like a few years ago. The tour guides are enthusiastic, the beach is cleaner".
Recorded at the beach, many water recreation activities take place enthusiastically such as water motorbikes, buoys, children's games... Young people are bustling to take photos in summer outfits. In addition, the beach park area is also crowded with people resting, eating or taking a cool breeze.
Cua Lo is entering the peak tourist season, and what happened on the big day is a positive sign for the local tourism industry after a long time of being affected by the epidemic.
More importantly, maintaining a civilized and friendly image in the eyes of tourists will be the "key" for Cua Lo beach to maintain its position as a leading destination in the North Central region.
